I just got Rally Trophy yesterday and, as with all my games, I
immediately look to see if there's a no-cd crack for it. I go to
gamecopyworld.com and find it with no probs. The directions read,
"Replace 'RallyTrophy.exe' with the executable from the download
archive. No problem!

I download the file, but it's called 'RallyTrophy_exe.ace'. Ok... maybe
I just have to rename it, so I rename it 'RallyTrophy.exe' just like the
file in the game. I swap the two files and try to run it. Nothing...
just an error message. I try renaming it 'GameLauncher.exe' as in the
game, swap those two files, and get the same thing. The supposed CD
crack is 537kb, the 'RallyTrophy.exe' file is 1.42MB, and the
'GameLauncher.exe' file is 476kb. I don't want to have to swap CDs with
the wife & kid's cd everytime I want to play Rally Trophy. How does this
crack work?!?

Use Winace (http://www.winace.com) to extract the file

ace is like zip. It's another type of file compression. As Andre has
already stated. Use a program similar to winzip to unzip ace files. And
that would be: winace you also might grab a third compression
program for rar files. Yup you guessed it...search for winrar.

Winace does it all, I have all three and only ever use Winzip and Winace.. I
don't like Winrar.. not sure why.. I just don't.

the nocd patch won't run with RT 1.1, you HAVE to stick with 1.0 or you have
to play with CD...
