I believe that SCGT has IPX network multiplayer support, but from what
I've seen on a few forums it hasn't been terribly successful. It seems
that a lot of the development is geared towards the 'wired' house -
network cards are cheap, and a number of companies are selling
networking kits so that a home can be outfit with a few networked
computers. Apple even has an "AirPort" for wireless networking.
It seems that the bandwidth problems and lag on the internet are going
to be around for a while as far as the producers are concerned, so why
make promises you can't keep.
