GP3 - Who Cares?

No bandwidth problems here with my cable modem - and many others as well
are perfectly fine with regards to on-line racing.  I know from my
experience on VROC that a good TCP/IP multiuser race is possible.  And
blows away racing against AI if you ask me.

If developers are using bandwidth problems as an excuse then they are
just copping out.  An example of one who isn't - West Racing Ltd.  You
know what they're doing?  They've brought in Alison Hine to assist in
putting together an on-line package for WSC that should be excellent.
With her experience in VROC I see this as a very good move.  Larry
Holbert and Nate Hine should be involved as well.  They were all
instrumental in taking GPL to another level by bringing us the on-line
experience that we have available to us today.

Sim's that avoid on-line TCP/IP multiplayer are simply missing the wave
of the future IMHO.
