Ed,

Are there plans to incorporate some of the new tracks that will be on the 1997
schedule?  Like the one in Texas and in California?  Have you approached the
owners of these new facilities yet?

Also, just curious, the Daytona track that you did for Daytona U.S.A., did it
have a curved pit road??? :)

NASCAR 2 will have only the 9 tracks from NCR 1 plus the 7 tracks from
the track pack (total of 16).  We are looking at other tracks for the
future.. maybe NRL.

The track for the theme park DOES have a curved pit road.  This is one
of the things that would preclude it from working in NCR 1.x and/or
NCR 2.

shooting through ***space:

Great!  You know, California and Texas will need to be added (you
oughtta start working now to get 'em, too), but it sure would be fun
to see you Papyrus dudes work up a unique oval of your own!

Did you mean "does NOT have a curved pit road"?  Because all the NCR1
tracks with triovals have curved pits, and I fail to see how a curved
Daytona would not be compatible for that reason.  I think you meant to
say the track has a STRAIGHT pit road.

No... the Daytona USA theme park exhibit has a curved pit road.
that's one of the big reasons that it won't work with NCR 1.x and/or
NCR 2.  the theme park exhibit uses custom code -- not NCR 1 or 2.

So does C***te and Dega now. Why did you bother to use new code? Is
this preplanning for Nascar3 or what? Did you fear that someone wouold
have a freind of a cousin who was married to the father of the janitor
that works at Daytona USA would copy the track on a floppy and sell it?

OK... I'm losing it.  Tony, you're right.  The Daytona track has the
realistic STRAIGHT pit road.  I must be losing it.  Too many arrows in
my back or something!
