N2 3dfx looks washed out

I have just got my defective Monster card back and now my N2 looks washed.
It didn't at first but now it does. I tried using the gamma correction but
it didn't help. Does anyone have any ideas. Any help would be appreciated.

That's just the way the 3Dfx version is (washed out).  You might be
remembering it looking cleaner from the non-3Dfx version.

I developed the same problem with my Monster card.  Dont know how it
happened, but when I fixed my autoexec to RGB 1.25, it corrected it.
I didn't fix it in the monster menus, I edited the autoexec.

Strangely, the washout wasn't there at first.

Hope it works for you.
