Well done on the Silverstone sub-one thirty.  I'm finding this considerablly
harder than the Monza sub-one thirty.  Im stuck at 1:30.21 in the Eagle
(basically the only car I drive).  However I'm starting to catch Ferrari fever
after setting a PB at the 'Ring on only my second flying lap in that car there.

Hey! Now that I think about it... Ferrari? You wouldn't happen to be using
that setup I sent you, would you?

No... that one wouldn't go any faster than the time I mentioned when driven
by me. To be quite honest I don't think even you can wrestle it down into
the 28's. It just does not respond to throttle and steering tweaks fast
enough. You're welcome to the one I did set the 1m29.73s with. It's posted
on the private newsgroup.

I owe you credit for the line through Becketts into Chapel that, IMO,
allowed me to smash the barrier in question though.

Thanks... my best in the Eagle is 1m30.00s... frustration central. ;-)

Ferrari is a good car for Silverstone as it accellerates well.

Posted my own and Mark's new PB laps to alt.binaries.simulators.autos

Unfortunately that group is still in the hands of the warez idiots (there
sure is a lot of that Mitchell stuff about it seems), so if it gets swamped
out or is incomplete for you or anyone, drop me a mail at

receive 250kb worth of attachments and I'll group send it.
