        There are some GPL car sounds that I like from various web pages.
However, I need to have the pack/unpack.exe's to open the dat files.  I
looked at the www.theuspits.com but wasn't able to find it.  I'm sure
it's there and staring me right in the face ;-(

        Does anyone know where specifically I can grab these?

Just curious, but why do need to unpack and repack the dats?  Remember
GPL will first look in the directory for the files and if it doesn't
find them it then looks in the dat, so if you place the appropriately
named sounds in the folder they will be used in place of those in the
dat.

        a couple of wav's I have are too loud for the other wav's being
played..  ie.. I'll hear my engine but can't hear my tires at all.

        so, If I unpack the dat's I can adjust volumes of each as well as edit
them a tad.  I used to have the pack and unpack.exe's but I got rid of
them as soon as I thought I had everything set.
