Hi Mike.  Villenuve has a unique situation with his old sponsor.
Players regularly controls the exposure of it's logo.  There is a brand
new add in magazines that shows the winning FORD vehicles that won
season's championships.  A Desert Truck, the Roush Trans Am Mustang and
the Reynard/Ford of Jacques.  However only his is shown from a direct
front angle.  The front tires then block the Players logo almost
entirely.  Only the nose decal can be clearly seen.  Now this is a
factory add by Ford, for Ford, and if they can't get Players to ok a
promo shot, no way, a little ol game company from Texas is gonna get'em
to ok stuff.
Oh, and his mom owns a copyright on the name Villeneuve from his
Dad's F1 racing days.  That too could play a part in this.
However, the question is really MOOT! cuz there are already two
sets of cars that have been painted for ICR2 that include JV and his
players paint scheme.  also the Penske's have thier Marlboro sponsorship
and Micheal Andretti and Paul Tracey etc are in those two.  The sets are
available on the Internet or probably by now at many bbs' around the
country including Compuserve and AOL.

Actually, we're from Massachusetts.

(Well, now that we're part of Sierra On-Line, we're from Massachusetts,
Washington, Illinois, and a bunch of other places...)
