First let me say that this method will require about 500 MB of your HD
space, so if you do not have any spare HD space then read no more.

What this process does is set up a virtual CD on you HD. I am assuming that
you have already installed the full legal version of Nascar 4 onto your
computer. Those people that are familiar with CDR or CDRW technology will
understand this easier than those that are not.
I had first tried to make a backup copy of my Nascar4 CD with Clone CD , but
the copy protection would not let me make a complete copy, every time I
would have a copy that would require the CD fix to even play offline, much
less play online. I had tried other copy software ex: CloneCD Games Database
2.0, with the Securom settings , and BlindRead and BlindWrite etc etc . with
no luck. Then I found a link to a piece of software that would make a
virtual CD out of a ISO, BIN , and others I am using the BlindRead dump of
the Nascar 4 CD now I might change to a different type in the future but
this works .
So here is the link to Daemon Tools http://www.racesimcentral.net/ here you
will find the latest version 2.47a I think is the latest version.
I downloaded this and installed then mounted the BTW file that I got from
BlindRead and off  I went playing online without my legal copy of  Nascar 4
in my CD.
There are several other files on this site that you could need if you don't
already have.
I hope this helps someone out there it worked for me hope it works for you
too.

See you on the track

Funny, I was able to make a copy of N4 using CloneCD and I play using
that back-up copy. I'm keeping the original just in case my copy gets
scratched. It's the first time I used CloneCd and I played with some of
the options without knowing exactly what each did; didn't matter cause
it worked ;)

Thanks very much for the heads-up. This worked great for me too. I abhor
unecessary CD swapping.

I couldn't get it to work.

It still said that I had the wrong CD in......and the phantom drive did not
have a label (I think that is the problem).

How can I make sure that my ISO or CUE file has the correct NASCAR4 label?

I'm not sure what program you are using to generate the CD image. I used
CloneCD with default settings, and set the label to NASCAR4 (by naming the
resulting CCD file 'NASCAR4.CCD'). Daemon-Tool had no problem loading and
using this image.

Why don't you guys just go to www.gamecopyworld.com for a fixed exe?

Because, using that executable will not let you log into the WON servers.
That's the whole issue here.

I used Fireburner and CDRWIN

Both made working images that I could mount with the daemon tool, but
neither had a disk label for some reason.

I'll try CloneCD tonight.

I'll see you and raise you...  :)

I made a copy with CD Copier (from Adaptec's Easy CD Creator 3.5
that came with my HP7500 2-2-24 drive) that works to start the game
and play online.  (I haven't tried installing from the disc, but then
again I don't intend to.)

When I first tried using BlindRead to get the disk image of the Nascar 4 CD
I was using my 32x CD reader
BlindRead told me that my CD reader was not capable of reading Subchannel
Data from the CD, I then tried
my Yamaha 6x4x16 CDRW to read the Nascar 4 CD without any problem . I think
this might be a clue as to why
some people are able to make a backup copy of N4 and some are not . Just a
thought anway, good luck .

A fixed exe doesn't let you play without the CD, it lets you play with a
burned CD. GCW hasn't posted a no-CD patch yet.
