I am in the market for a wheel and I am thinking of buying an Act-Labs
either with our without FF depending on the price. If you own or have
owned one, please send me your feedback.
Thanks.

sturdy, reliable, and great all around. As everyone seems to say with
this wheel, the paddle shifters take a bit of getting used to, but if
you keep your hands on the 9 and 3 position and get used to not moving
them from there as you drive, the shifter is fine. As all the reviews
state, gas and brake are fairly large, but stay where you put them, not
wanting to slide around. I find this wheel, because it doesn,t use the
conventional huge clamps to attach to playing surface, can attach on
computer desk with slide out keyboard drawer no problem, where other
wheels just wouldn't fit. All in all, great wheel and yes....I'd buy
another one.

Yeah, I've had this acts lab ff wheel and pedals for some 3 months....I'm
getting intermittent button problems on rotating the wheel
forcibly........its wearing out..the pedals have about I inch travel in them
and go downwards, not back and forwards...so if you've used other pedals,
factor in a little acclimation time.......generally I'm happy..but be aware
that the ff engine only runs under windows..if you play older dos-based
games you'll end up buying another 'engine'  to let you do that.......this
makes future upgrade 'opportunities' involving buying more 'engines' a
certainty...

                               wheel    rugged accurate..good
grip-factor...ff awesome

                               pedals...needs work...maybe a trifle
short-throw for gpl where some cars have all-or-nothing engine response!

and then you too can join the q
waiting for the shifter!

The wheel is great. No complaints there.

The pedals are not great. They tend to "stick" because of friction. I
have disassembled mine and discovered that the mechanism is at fault. It
will always "stick" the way it's built. I replaced the pedals with my
old pedals from a Thrustmaster T2. Works a lot better!!!

Greetings, Marcel
