usually I get +2 sec records. I watched the few last (real world)
Indycar races with this in my mind and I noticed I'm about 20 MPH slower
in straights. For example in Portland the drivers seem to reach about
180 MPH in the long slight right turn (almost a straight, corners 5a-6-7).
I usually reach 160 MPH in that "straight" with slightly modified
ace setup.
If I remember correctly, they didn't show telemetry from
Toronto, but commentators referred to higher top speeds than my 150+ MPH
in faster parts of the course. (Still waiting for add-ons to be
released in Finland so I haven't made comparisons on Cleveland track).
I don't like the idea of taking much wing off from ace setup, so
here's the question for all record breakers: How high top speeds
you reach in ICR road/street courses compared to real Indycars, for
example in Portland or Toronto? Or maybe I should just work on my
driving lines...
Ovals are no problem, there's plenty of top speed available for everyone;-)
