Joystick and f1gp

by Macsen Galv » Wed, 16 Nov 1994 00:16:06

I've just bought a new joystick (PC Raider for anyone who's inteested). My
old one was a QS one. My problem is:
The new joystick has a round socket that the handle fits into so there are
no corners to use in calibration (other games not f1gp!). This means that
when I'm going around a corner I can't control the throttle as well, in
real terms I'm losing 3-5 seconds a lap. I didn't noticeit at first but
when I loaded my saved season my lap times were awful!
Short of buying a new joystick, what can I do about it? using the fire
button is one solution I know but it's not exactly easy to get levels of
throttle (maybe I need an analogue fire button :} )

Can you email the replys as I'm not going to be able toread this for a
while.
