I'm suddenly unable to run dos programs. When I try to access dos through
the shut down menu nothing happens at all. If I try to use the Dos prompt
from the start-up menu I get an error message that says I don't have the
resources to run this program? I have a P2 350 with 96megs of ram and plenty
of HD space. Anybody got any ideas?

Dos programs require the first 640k of memory. Check task manager and remove
everything except sysman and explorer....then try dos.
This may solve the problem and worth a try before reinstalling Windows
again.

I have no probs running GP2 or Nascar2 via the MS-DOS prompt in Windows with
a similar spec to yours. Check your config.sys file to make sure it loads
the following
DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\HIMEM.SYS
DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\EMM386.EXE

Otherwise try using your Win95/98 boot disk to see if that'll do the trick.

Good luck

Andrew
