I purchased the Sierra re-release of Nascar and noticed it has a
version optimized for the Matrox Millenium (and it's great!).  Are there
any plans to do this for NASCAR 2?

Any info is appreciated,
CJ

I've purchased both the 3.5" (VGA) and the CD-ROM (SVGA) versions of NASCAR... since then I've purchased a new Matrox Millenium video card. If there's an optimized version of NASCAR for this card, am I going to have to BUY that too? Can't I get a little, ***y-weenie break from Papyrus somehow? I'd love to take advantage of my new EXPENSIVE video card!

Ed/Papyrus... pleeeeze? <g>

If you've got the CD-ROM version you're all set. Just install the CD
version and be sure to "patch" it to Version 1.21. Then go to Matrox's
FTP site (ftp.matrox.com) and find your way into the Millenium utilities
directory. In there you will find a copy of the special Matrox
NASCAR.EXE file that is at revision level 1.21. Replace the NASCAR.EXE
in your game directory with the one from the Matrox site and you're all
set. It is important to apply the 1.21 patch first since it updates more
than just the EXE file and the file from Matrox is only the 1.21 EXE.
Once you do that you're all set. BTW, the special Matrox version runs in
SVGA by default so you don't need to type in "nascar -h" for SVGA mode.
If you've done it all correctly you will see a tremendous difference
starting with the Intro.

No need to bother Ed on this one <grin>.

How bout the Creative Labs 3d Blaster & NASCAR2, and can you get a version
of multi.exe for the 3D Blaster?

Thanks for a response
