I was reading the box of NFS and it mentions that the network option only
works from windows. Is this true that network NFS wont run from dos?!?

That's how I understand it. I tried it using 95. It allows you to use
just one CD and do a remote install. Great I thought. But it wants
DirectX on both machines and my Diamond Stealth 2201 w/ the ARK
chipset does NOT support Direct X and Diamond emails they don't intend
to support it. Well. So I can't try the DOS version. I'm not buying
two CDs. Rather do GP2 H2H anyway. Good luck -=Don=-

This is true, NFSSE uses the client for Microsoft networks in Win 95, and thus
cannot be run in dos.  The best thing is that you only need one cd to play up
to 8 players (although the non cd players must have ~110megs of the game
installed on their computers.  We have 6 people on our network in my Fraternity
house, and it works great. It is so much better racing several real drivers, than
the stupid A.I. cars.
