What's the difference between NFS and NFS SE, apart from the new
tracks? I already have NFS, is it a waste of money to buy SE?

Yes, I think it would be a waste. There's only two new tracks, and
niether is very good. The performance and setup is also not quite as
good as NFS 1. If it's new tracks you want, check out this web site,
there are dozens of tracks new NFS 1 tracks for download:

NFS vs NFS SE

NFS-SE supports 8 players over an IPX network.  Only 1 CD is required
too, but a 170MB install needs to be done one the other PC's.

I have them both.

I find the T2 steering wheel is handled better in NFS-SE.  The T2
performs like a joystick in NFS (so bad I can't use it).

If you have friends that like to drive -- get NFS-SE, there is nothing
like head-to-head-to-head driving.
