Which sim should Papy do next, cart or F1?
I live in the UK so have never seen a cart race for real so would favour
the F1 sim.
I was disapointed with gp3 as there is not much feeling of control or being
on the "ragged edge" that you get with GPL (or N4), so come on Papy , which
is it to be , Cart or F1 ?

GPL 2, based in one of the years when Long Beach was on the schedule.

GPL2, early 70's. Modern tracks are sh*t.

If we can't race F1 officially over the 'net, I'd want CART! :)

I don't care, I just want to see a modern day open wheel racing sim using
the GPL/N4 physics engine, and mulitplayer capability.

Some people do nothing wrong.
The problem is, they do nothing.
And THAT is wrong.

Same here. I'd really like a Formula Ford sim. No aerodynamics, so the much
reduced downforce means they'll be more suited to computer play (none of
this mild oversteer leads to instant spin malarkey like with the modern F1
sims).

Just have to hope there's a FFord or two in WSC, if it ever gets
released..... :0)

Not CART, if you get over 233mph, the driver will slam on brakes and get out of
car and refuse to race.. go F1!!!!

A certain group of people in this newsgroup will INEVITABLY say they want
another historic <yawn> F1 sim. Bet on it.

Papyrus doesn't need to do a F1 sim because a fantastic one has just been
made in F1RC.

A CART sim would be nice, but CART is not very popular, especially compared
to F1, so I don't know how seriously they'd consider making one.

Well of course they will, they want one, and Papy has shown they could do a
good job of doing it, and F1RC has the modern era covered.

What's your point?

Oooo... nice.  1000-1200 hp and great big slicks.  And those 1st generation
turbo Renault (exploding) engines... wicked.

How nice it must be to live in your perfect world where you do not have to
risk your life to the extent that they do everytime they get in a car.
