Funny Vid in NR03-Any suggestions?

Doing a full length 106 lap CTS in NR03 race at Daytona Night with me
and 25 trucks.  Most of the trucks are the new CTS trucks from
MaxGraphix that I got yesterday...all hi res.  (If I don't give info
you need-please ask I am not much good with the hardware stuff.)

What would happen in***pit mode *sometimes* when I would come around
turn 3 towards 4 the video would 'flicker'.  Didn't seem to happen all
the time.  Only when in a pack of trucks and pretty much always in
about the same spot.  I reduced the number of visible cars and that
seemed to help some, but it still happened.  Before reducing the cars,
the first time going into the pits it pretty much went into 'freeze
frame'...  The game kept running just seemed to slow or freeze up very
breifly.  Only seemed to happen in***pit view.  Tried a cup race
later and it seemed OK.

Was I just asking too much of the vid card?  Too many Hi res trucks?

Specs as best I know how to give them:

Pentium 4 2.40c chip
GeForce 5200 128 meg (I know it's slow and old, it's getting replaced
SOON-with either a 6600 or 6600GT)
1 gig ram
Windows XP DirectX is current

This has never happened before...I did a 50 lapper last nite with nary
a problem...

Any suggestions or ideas?  Please ask if there is info you need...
Thanks in advance for any help you can give....
