Mobil 1 is better, but harder to find. Of all of them, I'd still go for
Colin McRae 2.

I have Mobil1, Colin Mcrae 1 & 2 and Rally Masters.
RM has great graphics, great physics (get the patch) and loads of
gameplay modes. Its a great package.
Mobil1 has amazing stages (some of them take 20 or so minutes) and
great graphics but the physics don't really convince.

Personally, I'd say get both. M1RC should be down to $17.95
or around that level. Check compuexpert.com. I think they have
it in their bargain section.
RM is more "fun" driving as it emphasizes powerslides around
the corners, and a lot of those super-special competitions.
RC, on the other hand, have longer stages and more realistic
terrain.
I own both and I enjoy both (and CMR1).

RC is the one if you want realistic-length stages (ie up to 20 minutes)
and superb scenery. And it's recently come out on budget
in the UK (a tenner). Unfortunately, the physics are dodgy unless you
spend a fair amount of time fiddling with configuration files.
RM is the one if you want lots of options and better physics out of the
box[1] - the stages are a bit short, as in most rally games, but it's
probably my favourite as it's... convincing. To me, anyway - and I'm
the one playing it, so no-one else matters :-)
CMR2.0 is the most arcadey - short stages, fantasy tracks, typical
***y Codemasters requirement to finish well in every rally to
progress in the championship - but it's fun if you want a quick blast,
and it's really pretty respectable in the handling department.
[1] well, sort of - you'll want a patch, but there isn't the need for
detailed hacking that there is in RC.
