HELP!!!!! My Tm GP1 Doesn't work!!!

Do I need an ACM card to use GP1? I bought one 4 hours ago, but I cannot
get the levers work correctly. Not with the adaptor (to let them be axis Y
of Joystick A) nor without it (cannot calibrate gas lever)
