Car Set problem in nascar

The car sets that I downloaded from didnt.doit.wisc.edu (iwcccars.zip and
95nascar.zip) don't work. I installed them in excatly the same way I do
for ICR and excatly the same way the readme.txt file says to do it. But I
go to load the car set and Nascar crashes. Then I try to reload nascar
and I get the message "Unable to load CARS. Incomplete installation."
This has happened twice to me and both times I have had to reinstall
nascar (I even copied nascar.exe to a seperate directory and it still
didn't work). I'm getting really annoyed. If anyone has any advice on
what to do it would be much appreciated.

A) You don't have the most recent version of IWCCCARS.

B) Since (A) is true, you haven't seen the README.TXT with IWCCCARS.

C) Since (B) is true, you probably installed it wrong.

IWCCCARS is supported at ftp://ftp.webcom.com/pub/zyllyx/iwcc/updates, or at
URL http://www.webcom.com/~zyllyx/welcome.html.  If you get the newest set,
follow the instructions in the README.TXT, and STILL have problems, let me

This might be restating the obvious, but the name of the car set file _must_
be the same as the directory name (i.e. if the data file is cars95.dat then it
must be in the nascar\cars\cars95 directory). Hope that helps.

Did you give the directory the same name as the *.dat file ?
Methinks that might be the problem.

Hey thanks a lot for the help. I haven't tried it yet but I'd say it
would work. Thanks heaps.
