Just got this computer, installed N2. Its running in a window DOS-BOX,which
after I launch the Game I get "critical error Aabort, Retry"I hit the A to
abort
and the game starts up and seems to run fine! Any ideas? Also the maker of this
computer doesnt have a "shut down re-start in MS-DOS mode,the reason being
is that they dont want any Native Dos programs to corrupt the 32fat Win95?
Any one run N2 in DOS and have any problem with this FAT 32 issue?

Yes... This is because you do not have the CD in your drive. The
program wants to play the intro video from the Cd and it is not there
to be read. That is the critical error. If you want to stop seeing
this, change your shortcut to run from nascar2.exe or remove the line
beginning with the "smackply" (no quotes) from n2.bat.
What kind of computer do you have? I, for one would like to know
exactly how DOS native programs would corrupt FAT32. I think your
manufacture is full of ***and simply does not want to support
customers having problems with DOS. The way I look at it, selling you
Win 95 without DOS is like selling you half of an operating system.
