You are probably correct in that, except for the fact that when the cars are
going down the straights, the piece of tape on the wheel to indicate the
center position usually is centered. When they pull into the pits and turn
the wheels straight to allow easier changing of the tires, the tape is again
centered. So even though the car pulls left on the straight, they only have
to hold it to the center, not turn to the right, IMO of course.
