ThrustMaster Formula T2 any good?

>I plan to buy a Joystick/wheel for use with my driving sims (e.g. F1GP, NFS

>How well does it work with NFS? Is it going to be supported in F1gp-2?

I just picked one up last evening and I'm pretty happy with it so far.
They've improved the mounting which was one of the big problems with
the T1 (they now have a couple of clamps which secure the steering unit
to a desk or table in addition to the suction cups). The wheel is now
***ised (sp?) so it's pretty easy to hang on to. The only thing I
wished they had done was to mount fire buttons somewhere on the wheel
so that you could change gears without removing your hands from the
steering wheel. There is a picture as well as some marketing info at
http://www.racesimcentral.net/.

They've also replaced the rollers on the brake/accelerate unit with
pedals. These are a little bit *** bare feet but this is a
pretty minor inconvenience.

Given you're in Ontario, the best place to buy one is probably A-Plus
software. I picked one up last night for $180 CAD (+ Jean & Mike's cut).
This was some sort of special and they only had 5 units in stock. My
little brother was a little jealous since this was the same price he
paid for his T1.

Hope this helps - Roland.
