TPTCC99 and ICR2 tracks

by lub.. » Sat, 18 Mar 2000 04:00:00

Hi,

I just bought ICR2 (Cart Racing) with hope of using ICR2 tracks
with TPTCC99. The track install, but can't be loaded.
The Install guide talks about converted ICR2 tracks. What is the
converter asnd procedure to covert those tracks, so they can be used
with TPTCC99?

Thanks.

TPTCC99 and ICR2 tracks

Hi and welcome to the world of Touring cars. :)
here is what you have to do.
go back to the uspits...where you got the tptcc99 and dload a demo track
convertor.  I think it does Cleveland, Portland, and Longbeach.  The
full convertor costs $15(US) and can also be had at the pits, and also
converts N99 tracks for use with ICR2.
The best way to make sure everything is working correctly is to convert
the tracks, THEN run the tptcc patch on N99.
Make sure you get the latest tptcc99 patch.  It includes not only the
2.0 litre Super Tourers, but the V8 Aussie Touring cars.
The convertor reads your Cart Racing cd then creates the proper folder
in N99 and converts the files to work with N99.
And the tptcc patch includes a calendar file so all your new tracks will
run, plus a bunch of 99 spec BTCC touring cars are available at
iwwwcars, which has a link from the pits too.
Have fun  write again if you have any problems or questions.
