I seem to loose a gear quite often, what causes this and is? and can it be prevented via the setup or the driving style? Also does choosing a driver\car efects this? (Glen & Sears)
Have you ever race GPL? There you have to slightly lift off the throttle for every UPshift(i.e. from 2nd to 3rd) Do the same with N4. Speedshifting (like the way we shifted with n/n2/n99/n3) will stress the gears...About the only place I've broken a gear is on road course when I try and get out of gravel traps. dave henrie
Yes I've dedicated my self to GPL since it came out... I managed to go trouble free trough a road course race with more gentle shifting, this is where GPL and N4 differ a bit...
Yep that did the trick, I used to shift up when I hit the red (the way I did in N3 and GPL) which left me without a gear(s) after 20 laps...
