N4 gearing trouble

I seem to loose a gear quite often, what causes this and is? and can it be
prevented via the setup or the driving style? Also does choosing a
driver\car efects this? (Glen & Sears)

Down shifting while revs are still high. Do you downshift after a spin to
soon?

Have you ever race GPL?  There you have to slightly lift off the throttle
for
every UPshift(i.e. from 2nd to 3rd)  Do the same with N4.  Speedshifting
(like the way we shifted with n/n2/n99/n3) will stress the gears...About the
only
place I've broken a gear is on road course when I try and get out of
gravel traps.

If you over rev the engine you can lose that gear so watch your rpms Enjoy

Yes I've dedicated my self to GPL since it came out...
I managed to go trouble free trough a road course race with more gentle
shifting, this is where GPL and N4 differ a bit...

Yep that did the trick, I used to shift up when I hit the red (the way I did
in N3 and GPL) which left me without a gear(s) after 20 laps...
