stse of play was with tracks/cars etc.
If I use more than one modified car I can't load a track. Methinks it's
probably some sort of memory issue, but is there anything I can tweak?
My system is a rather creaky PIII450, 256Mb, V3 3000.

Here is the best way to install the latest cars, allthough it still
requires carefull reading the readme files

And with a V3 3000 you shouldn't install those 16bit cars, they cause
a lot of problems on many systems (mostly random back to desktop
crashes) and the v3 has not enough texture memory to handle those
16bit textures.

Why not try GPLCSM. It allows you to choose car sets that suit your system.
Kev

Disagree bigtime - just look at Kevins movie to see how gorgeous GPL
looks after the updates. Just they away from those 16-bit textures on
the cars, they seem to cause the problems.

I've tried renaming the "nsilver.*" files to "silver.*" like the
original track files, and placing in a directory called "\silver"
also like the original, and matching ini files, etc. But no go. :(
