Good stuff! Feels good with all the effort that goes into it and you've
finally done it :).

Thanks everyone! I've been reading the advice on RAS for a while now & it's
alot of good stuff.

I compared my times to yours, Eldred, and we're pretty similar. You're
actually faster than me on most circuits, and the biggest difference is the
'ring.

+/- 10 seconds there is pretty okay I think, and I *usually* do around 8:30
there.
My 8:2x.xx pb was just a bit of luck, & I got round without making any
mistakes.

How's your consistency there? If you're anything like me, just doing a clean
lap should give a good time. Is this the case with you too?

Malc.

My 8:30.18 was a clean lap in a league race in...October or November, I think.
Haven't broken 8:40 since...  Even when I've run clean laps, thinking they were
great times - 8:50, high 8:40's...  My PB was basically going for broke - I
didn't have anything to lose(last lap, and I was in last place).
I don't see how I could go any faster.  Oh well.
