OK, so maybe I'm not a newbie, but heck, I'm a weekend simmer - at best!
Another 72secs and Huttu is mine!!!!  Next goal is to go negative in GPLrank
but I've only played GPL for about 3 hours in the last 3 years.  Can someone
whose played F1 2001 and GPL give me an indication of how difficult I might
find that?

Personally i find F1 2001 much more difficult to drive then GPL.
I guess it has to be the inertia of the cars, where F1 2001 has a more
complex
physics-engine. GPL has the "bricklike" inertia.
Its so much faster too then GPL, you need to react fast when something
happens :)

Btw, congratulations about going negative!. I myself is also a "weekend
player".
I had a brake from GPL for a while, and just come back, to lower my +62 to
+19 in
a couple of days.

I didn't know there WAS an F1 2001 rank.  I'd probably be at +200 or so...
If I *did* decide to torture myself with it, where might I find the ranking?

I think you may be right.  I'm finding GPL pretty easy - at least compared
to the last time I played it.  My throttle control has improved out of sight
since then.  I have some real gripes about the 'ring though - that thing's
just a memory test, not a race track!
