Hey,
You'd be better off purchasing N3 (which comes with IMS).  N99 is blown away
by N3, also the Daytona for N3 can be readily found if you ask a few people
with broadband connections.

N99 is blown away only with free multiplayer and better graphics and sound. The
game itself is still the same. If you have N3 or are willing to buy it you'll
get a very nice Indy and http://www.racesimcentral.net/
'em over to N99 and delete all the N3 setup files and replace them with some
N99 setups so the track will load properly.

eliminate the racing groove.

I'd rather not.  I had to shell out around $40 to upgrade from 2 to 99 just to
get 3Dfx and MS Sidewinder FF support (no FF, obviously, but N2 can't recognize
the wheel through DOS).  I really can't justify shelling out another $40 or so
for the same product a second time....
