I patched my N2 last night and went in to try to pick up my season today
and when I click on 'Practice', the sim locks up. I tried starting a new
season, and same thing happens. Anybody else have this happen?
Using the rendition version, and never had 1 lock up the whole time I've
had the sim. Surely they tested the patch in season mode before they
distributed it.

As a follow up, this only occurs in Nasrend mode - regular SVGA mode works
fine. If I replace the patched Nasrend.exe with the original from the CD,
Championship mode works fine, albeit with no Save game or other features
that are part of the patch. I've tried DMA mode, non-DMA mode, the -4
switch for the patch and so far I can't practice or warmup in a
Championship Season race (it WILL qualify and race, however) when using
the patched rendition version of the game. I haven't seen anyone else
report this yet, and I'm at a loss.

Have you tried starting a new season? I use the DMA version and don't
have this problem. However, I'm not trying to continue a season
either, I started a new one.
