a clutch!
This game is incredible, but it's kind of sickening hearing those
engines bog from a stop or low speed like that. With louder, more
realistic engine sounds, and a clutch so we could wind those pig dogs up
into the high *** revs, this game would be perfect enough for me!
Great game!
Back I go...

Already got it.
And the version I'm playing is pretty damn good. :)
I agree, the handing is a tad ***, but it's the best bike game out right
now, and I love it.
Indeed I have ridden an auto-moped. Intriguing vehicles.

Are we playing the same game?
You ever actually ride a bike?
the game is far from perfect but may get better when we can play it in
Simulation mode. when the ful release comes out.
Game seems very unrealistic to me. but i guess i need to see what the sim
mode brings.

This game makes you slow down way too much for medium to slow corners.
It seems you have to take almost every corner in first gear.  Go watch
some World Superbike on television and you'll see how much faster the
real bikes go through the same corners...!

Yes, but first gear on these bikes is 70-80 miles an hour!
It seems like you're going slow, but if you take a quick peek at the speedo, it
shows 30mph through a hair pin sometimes.
I think the speeds are very accurate in this game, it's just the 'feeling' of
speed that's a bit off. It feels like you're going alot slower than you really
are.

I think Jason's suggestion was a damned good one. :-)

A neutral gear would be good too

I've watched some AMA 750cc Superbike racing up close and personal,
and the speeds seem right to me. Jason basically hit the nail on the head -
the "feel" of speed isn't there.

actually first gear is around 90+, my street YZF hits 75 in first gear and
30 mph is fairly accurate for hairpin if enter too slow,

you are going by the sound of the Ducati, since it is the only bike
available in demo. The Duc always sounds like it's going slow even in real
life. they have a Unique sound that make you think the rider is putting
around the track, even though is ripping lap records.

Its not that you low down to much in the game , It is the way you slow down.
In real life approaching those slow turn you would slide the bike into the
turn scrubbing off most of your speed in the slide. In the game we have to
brake, and the brakes are most effective with the bike upright. so we are
loosing a lot of entry sped into the corners.

Wow. This is a new one and I'm afraid its mostly incorrect. Sliding to scrub off
speed entering a turn?!!! On a roadrace bike? That's rarely ever done and if it
is done, its usually not on purpose. Perhaps your explanation is not worded very
well and I'm not understanding your viewpoint? <shrug>

And that's what the simulation part of the game allows you to do.
I agree with you Kevin, that sounds reasonable, but don't hate
SuperBikes just because you haven't seen it do what it can do.
Maybe not to the extent of sliding through a corner, but it's sure
better than MotoRacer type cornering.

Well i can ride a wheelie by pressing LEAN BACK key and left off at the
right moment. I can ride it about 1-2 miles if i hit it right.
The more you play simulation mode, the more you appreciate it. It does take
alot of CPU to run it smooth but the actual tracks and bikes help the
simulation effect... especially if your a GPL or
F1RS fan you know these tracks like the back of your hand.

Nice must have race game for motorcyle racers/riders!

He must be talking about the Harley =^)

Seriously though, you're right. The only place I've ever heard of that
happening is on short-oval racing. Or maybe Foggy on a rainy day =^)
