Are you running through Win95 or DOS?

I suspect network timeouts of some sort are occuring.  I had a similar
pause in Windows 95 when I had a mal-configured ethernet adapter that was
trying to come on-line.  I have also heard that TCP/IP might cause these
delays while trying to acquire an IP address via DHCP.  Try disabling the
network.  /THansen

I have a Toshiba P-120 laptop in a docking station running N2.  Every few
minutes when I am driving I have five consecutive pauses and then the sim
resumes normally.  It's very difficult to drive like this escpecially in a
corner with somebody outside of me.  Does anybody know what might be
causing this or how to fix it.  I have reloaded N2 and I have the same
problem.  It also occurs on my IBM P-75.  Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Matt,

I had the same thing. Turn off Obtain IP Address Automatically
for the TCP/IP protocol.

I get the same thing usually when I am in turn 4.  The game hesitates for
just a second. I am running an HP Vectra P-166 with an Intergraph reactor
card.  I run the Rendition bat file which restarts the computer in DOS
mode. I tried running the DMA Rendition file but it doesn't work.  Any help
would be appreciated.

Thanks
