How to increase joystick deadspot?

by MJ& » Sat, 15 May 1999 04:00:00

Hello everyone,

I'm having problems with CM Rally. The menus are scrolling around like
mad.
I tried several things including switching joysticks, etc.

I know of a utilility to increase the deadspot ( in joystick.dll or
something), but I
can't seem to find it anywhere.

Anyone who knows where to download this thingy?

TIA,
LazyG.

Hi
Had similar probs, (BTW I thought, they were caused by my mouse...)
You can use DXTweak from Logitech for changing the deadspot, but be careful
with the "default values" option, these are Logitech defaults, but not
necessarily yours!
You will find the tool in the download section of Logitech's website.
URL might be www.logitech.com

Hope it helps

Glad to walk into this subject: I was looking for something like this for a long
time!
Immediatly dl'd CTFJ3.
