GP2 Track Questions....

by Dave St.On » Tue, 12 May 1998 04:00:00

I've downloaded a few of the tracks, but I am not exactly sure how to
get them to work.  I've used the "no cd" utility to get the "circuit"
directory, and I have put the files in the directory but I am not sure
how to get the tracks to work.  I assume I have to use Streckman's
editor but I can't seem to figure it out.  Also, am I limited to only
16 tracks or can I have more for a championship season.

Any help would be greatly appreciated....

GP2 Track Questions....

Dave,

I'm definitely not a GP2 expert, but I believe you can do this:

Go to Circuits directory,
Pick a circuit like Portugal which is F1CT13.dat and back it up by renaming
it F1CT13.old
THEN rename your new track FCT13.DAT and then go into GP2 choose the
Portugal track to race.
This method is simple and fast. The name and the opening graphic will not
change but your actual track will be the "new" track.
Some of the GP2 experts might know how to change it differently, but thats
my way.
