GP2 Steering wheel probs

by John McIlro » Sun, 09 Apr 2000 04:00:00

Hi all,

Disappointed as I am with F1 2000, I've decided to bring GP2 out of the
cupboard for the final few months before its successor arrives.

Unfortunately, my Thrustmaster Nascar Super Sprint wheel doesn't seem to
agree with me. Or GP2, for that matter.

When I get to the steering wheel calibration, it steers fine but either the
acceleration or braking doesn't work, depending on which axis I choose.
Naturally, the help file that comes with the Super Sprint is entirely wrong
and completely hopeless....

Has anyone managed to get this wheel working with GP2 and if so, on what
settings?! Please! I'm getting desperate....

create a new profile, define steer as axis X of JOY1, accelerate as AXis Y of
joy1, brake as axis X of Joy 2, then enable calibration driven (chech box) and
then calibrate (answer yes to the question that prompts about joy and menus).

Should work, but it took me some time to find that!!!
