T2 steering wheel for gp2

Hello everyone,

I just bought GP2 and I can tell you that it is VERY good. But to really enjoy it to the full,
I need a steering wheel and pedals so I was considering to buy a T2.
Has anybody tried it with gp2?
How much does it cost?
Where can I buy it (Manchester area or postorder)?
Would it be cheaper to buy it via postorder in the USA?
Are there better candidates in the same price class and compatible with gp2?

Thanks and....keep on driving!

Gil.

> Gil. I have the T2 by Thrustmaster and GP2 and it is simply awesome!!! This is

the only way to drive a sim. I can't say enough about the T2 with ANY driving
sim and GP2 is incredible also. The cost for the T2 around here in Las Vegas
is about $129. Check out Thrustmasters Web site if you can't locate one
locally at http://www.thrustmaster.com

Gil,

I have the T2 since 6 month and played GP1 and now GP2 (what else?).
I've heard that some guys using the keyboard have better times, but
the feeling with T2 is ... is... funtastic! It's real, wonderful touch,
and I love it. Everyone who played GP2 with my T2 bought one the other
day.

I've bought my one via mail order in Germany and payed 230,-- DM,
thats anbout 150 $.

My tip: Do It.

If anybody is finding 120ukp a little steep, I built my own steering
wheel out an old coathanger, an old joystick, some insulation tape and
a few other odds and ends. (In true Blue Peter style :-) )

Total cost so far, about 5ukp.

It works much better than my joystick. I just working on the pedals
at the moment.

If anybody is interested in doing the same I'll  post up the
details.
