Well Microprose why don't you get off your backsides, pay Geoff a
large sum of money and ask him nicely to create a 3dfx patch. I may
be wrong but us GP2ers would pay for the darn thing. GP2 is *the*
racing car game.

>It is not true. MicroProse have no GP3 or any other racing game project

>>Is GP3 actually being made at the moment. I get the general idea from
>>http://GP2.COM that it is in the pipeline, is being programmed by Geoff C
>>himself and is supposidly being released February 1998 on 4 Cds!
>>This is the artical on GP2.COM:

>>According to article by Hyperactive news, Microprose have officially
>informed
>>all distributors that Grand Prix 2 will be removed from sale on December
>the
>>31st 1997. It seems like that the circumstance surrounding the untimely end
>to
>>this classic game are directly related to the non renewal of the FUJI FOCA
>>license. This comes at a time when Psygnosis are the subject of legal
>action
>>in response to releasing F197 prior to the issue of a licence from the
>Formula
>>One Association (CTW).
>>Geoff Crammond has been working with Grand Prix 3 for the last six months.
>>This was found out by John Crooke a mate of Geoff Crammond. Crooke told his
>>information to Hyper Stimulator Australia.
>>Microprose was seen testing at Silverstone with some F1 and F3000 drivers.
>>This means that there is no reason test anything without devoloping
>something.
>>Three big PC magazines (PC Concrete, PC Zone and PC Gamer) have also got a
>>chance to take a quick look of the game. They've got some information that
>it
>>will be released in February 1998 with four CDs and a 3Dfx support.
>>Microprose have given to some guys a chance to test it (beta version). It
>was
>>said that it was great, just like F1GP and GP2 was.
>>Microprose denies everything, of course. They don't want to rush like in
>the
>>way they did with Grand Prix 2. When GP3 is finished, they'll make a big
>>announcement and start marketing.
>>However, there are still some problems. FIA maybe won't licence it and this
>>means that all the drivers are fictious, but anyway the game is based on
>>season 97...
