HELP PLEASE Ultimate Race Pro problem

Hi there I have Ultimate race pro and it locks up my system on the screen
that lets you decide weather you want a auto or manual transmission and it
just locks up, my system is  P2 450, 128meg ram, 12meg vodoo 2 from
creative, and 16meg TNT, every thing works fine untill this screen any
advise please. I also have the patch.

I  had the same problem. It was caused by having an A3D sound card. The
solution if you have one, is to disable the hardware acceleration of the
sound card from within the Vortex control panel. Make sure that the box
which says disable hardware accelleration is checked. Under A3D settings.
