TSW2 Pots?

TSW2 Pots?

I was considering getting a TSW2 Wheel, but I've heard a few people mention
in the past that it uses low-quality pots that wear out within a month or
two.  Does anyone have any experiences with their pots in a TSW2?  I hate to
spend $200+ on a wheel that has poor quality parts.
Thanks

I got my TSW wheel about a year ago and the pots did wear out in about
a month, having said that I replaces them with Digikey pots that have
lasted all this time.  This wheel with these pots seems to have a life
span of forever. You can't go wrong with a TSW wheel.

OK, that's what I figured.  For $225 it should include high-quality pots.
Not pots that last ONE MONTH.  That is totally ridiculous.  I'll shop around
for another wheel.  Thanks for the input.

Please what is the Digi-key part number for the replacement pots?

TSW2 Pots?

Please do not judge the wheel based on the pots.  The wheel is phenomenal.  It
blows away the $75-$150 toy junk that TM, Microsoft, and the rest produce.  Yes,
plastic, low quality, junk.  Try a TSW, you won't settle for junk after using
it.  I own a TSW2 and one pot went bad after 2 months.  Pots go bad, this is not
a major revelation.  Go to their site.  They don't put the $$$ pots  bc they can
last a month or several years just as the cheapo pots.  Instead, they offer the
pricey digikeys as replacements.  Would you dismiss a Porsche 911 because the
wiper blades wear out?  Pots are cheap and will always deteriorate.  Look at
the  $1300 wheel (forget the damn name).  Those wheels have pots that wear out
too!  Amazing.  A TSW is a quality piece of hardware.  Heavy metal and wood.
Not plastic crap.  Try it you'll never go back to junk.  BTW, don't count on
finding a better buy for the money, it's not out there.

PS-This is my opinion, not a paid adverti***t.  Feel free to disagree, just
remember that I don't care.

In your blind rush to judgment you disregarded the most important sentence
of Kerkes' post... "you can't go wrong with a tsw wheel."

FURTHERMORE, TSW offered to replace those pots which failed
prematurely in some of the early TSW2 wheels.  I've had mine for a
year and a half, and I just replaced my first pot, and I agree -- YOU
CAN'T GO WRONG WITH A TSW WHEEL.
