i am looking for any information on how to edit the track files, in order to
make my car more competetive at daytona.  I have installed the fis patch to
add daytona to n2, and it worked fine.  When I copied that folder to nascar
3, I can't seem to get the car to come up to speed.  It works at Talledega
just fine, but at fis the best top speed I can get is 194-195.  In nascar 2
I can get at least 202. So needless to say my lap times are much slower as
well.  It doesn't seem to have effected the AI cars, however.  So I need to
know how to edit the track file to make my car come back up to snuff.

you can't edit YOUR car, only the AI's speeds by the BLAP and RELS lines.  BLAP
is best lap in seconds to three decimals, without the decimal point.

assuming you want to keep the restrictor plate on...
