I take it you noticed that "No Logo" had been registered as a
trademark? Irony upon irony...

Actually, I suppose we motorsport fans are quite lucky. Look at
football: Bolton Wanderers' ground is "The Reebok Stadium", and has
been from the start - there's never been a non-sponsored name for it at
all. And one of the Welsh teams rejoices in the name "Total Network
Solutions FC". Gets the juices flowing, eh?
On the other hand, how many cricket fans say "The Foster's Oval"?
Somewhere between none and none[sic], I'd say.

If they some day create an F1 track here in Finland, which I doubt,
I sincerely hope, it will NOT be called "Nokia Ringing"! ;-)

PS: Rolex Daytona is a wonderful GPL track! No harm to me from "Rolex"! ;)

>> Actually, the U.S. has TWO tracks that are sponsor-named:
>> 1. C***te Motor Speedway is now Lowe's Motor Speedway at C***te.
>> Lowe's is a damn home-improvement store.
>> 2. Laguna Seca Raceway is now the Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca. I'm sure we

Yes, corporations run the country. And thank God it's not small
business or we would be lucky to have 400 baud modems right now (and
pay $50 a month for the line).

Thought I'd answer your points more fully. :-)

Flatout BullShit. If not for the perceived threat of Government
intervention, corporations would*** you many times worse than this!

| Didn't 'Native Americans' walk here from China??
| Didn't 'non native Americans' sail here? Seems to me there are no real
| 'natives' just those folks who got here earlier than others. And yes
they
| were treated very badly by the later arriving waves of people.

| Correct on all counts Dave. The Europeans didn't "discover" America,
| they just got lost & stumbled upon it. And then invaded it. :-)
