Does anyone else have the Hercules Thriller 8 meg card and can
successfully run Nascar2 and ICR2 in rendition mode either thru Win 98
or dos? I am not too sure if my problem is win98 , an AMD K6 2 300, or
the thriller card.  Any suggestions ?

If performance in papy simd is what you want then get the thriller. It will
not run ICR2 out of the box but there is a patch on some rendition site. I
haven't driven anyhting but GPL for months, I'll wait for Nascar 2000 with
the new physics engine.

Don't think it's related to K6-2 300. Mine runs flawlessly with K6-2

installed. Must confess though that I prefer the Rendition Verite's
graphics & frame rate, so much so that for this sim, I'm very tempted
to put my PCI Diamond Stealth II S220 back in until I can get my hands
on an 8MB AGP Hercules Thriller 2200. (Currently 4MB AGP Viper V330)
