Problem: F1RS Controller Configuration

by Marvin van Schalkwy » Sat, 02 May 1998 04:00:00

Hi.

I have a CH Racing Wheel which I'm using with my CH Pedals.  I've set it up
as a Racing Wheel, and also F1RS sees everything, and have the 1.09 patch.
Everything is fine, but I can't seem to get the controls to work properly.
Either the brakes are too soft, or lock up when I touch them, or the
acceleration is almost digital.  I've adjusted the sensitivity, checked the
calibration, tried the dead zone fix, but it isn't quite right.

Could someone with a similar configuration please help me out?

Thanks,
Marvin

I use the CH Pedals, too. While an F1 car should have a touchy gas pedal
;^)

Did you set the sensitivity to 100%? It sounds illogical, but this works
for me.

Problem: F1RS Controller Configuration

by KPineb » Sat, 02 May 1998 04:00:00

Just this afternoon, I used almost all of my tax refund to get a Monster 3DII.
Installation seemed to go fine.  Afterward, I ran ICRII for a while and a
couple of other flight and driving sims.  But somewhere during the course of
uninstalling a few games and installing a new one, or changing my game
controller,  I screwed SOMETHING up.

When I try to run ICRII or SODA, my monitor clinks two or three times like it's
changing resolution or something, and I get two identical distorted horizontal
windows across the screen.

Anybody know what I did and how to fix it.  My knowledge of this end of things
is very limited.  I considered myself fortunate to have installed the board
without electrocuting myself. :-/

Please, help!  Thanks!

Kurt
