I Have gpl v1.2.01 and winvroc v2.1.0.3.
I use a USB cable modem 64k.
When I run vroc I can enter the chat rooms for VROC & GPL,but vroc will not
connect to any servers to list a race
list.I cannot host or jion anything.
Any help would make me a happy man.

Make sure you have a vroc.ini file in the vroc program directory. It should
have the following lines:

[VROC]
Address=216.7.136.5

Then restart VROC.

Sounds like you need the vroc.ini fix. it's only 27 bytes so I've attached
it to this message. Simply put it in the WinVROC folder, normally C:\Program
Files\VROC\WinVROC

I thought the current version of VROC was 2.1.0.0 though, at least thats
what the regulars on VROC use. If it doesn't work after the fix, then
download the 2.1.0.0 version from http://vroc.net

Joe, I don't know if this will help but I had the EXACT same thing
happen to me. I re-installed everything time and time again, got all
the patches nothing helped. What I was told to do by the awesome guys
in the VROC chat room was to go to player info and be sure to put a
first and last name in. I did that and It all worked fine. hehe I know
it seemes to easy but it worked for me.
