"sim", not "rally sim" or "racing sim".
RC2000 doesn't offer anything other than realistic stage lengths and pretty
scenery. That is ALL it offers in terms of a rally sim. Everything else
about the game, from the physics, the cars, the service points, the lack of
setup options, the inability to progress to the next rally without finishing
high in the previous have NOTHING to do with the way a real BRC calendar
would be run.
The tag line for GT was/is "The real driving simulator" it does that
adequately.
GT offers myriad setup options for all aspects of the car engine,
transmission, suspension etc etc etc that RC2000 doesn't even scratch at.
Maybe you need to provide a list of what you think has to be in a game for
it to be a "sim" as it's obviously different to mine.
I wouldn't even mention RC2000 in the same breath as N4 or GPL.
