GPL Ferrari question

Hey,

I have been driving this game since it first came out and love it.  I
got hooked on driving the Ferrari originally because it sounded so cool, but
now I am completely hooked by the easy to induce and control oversteer it
exhibits compared to the other cars.  I know that the Lotus is probably
faster, but to me not as much fun.  My question is this:  Does anybody drive
the Ferrari in online races or is it not competitive?  What is a reasonable
time for Monza compared with the Lotus?  I am no hot lapper to be sure and
can only achieve about 1:32 in the Ferrari.  Is this at all comparable to
the 1:30 benchmark people post about for the Lotus?    Thanks

Greg

Don't know about online, but on GPLRank I see there are people who have
run in the high 1.27's in the Ferrari.  This is still about 1.5 seconds
off of the record (Lotus), but it's certainly faster than I can drive
it.  ;o)

It doesn't matter - people can even drive the BRM to under the 1:30
benchmark(but not me).  If you like a certain car, and can drive it smoothly,
then run it.  The only time you might not be able to run it online is if you're
in a league that only allows certain marques to be used.  The Ferrari loses a
bit in top speed, but may gain a bit in other areas.
