GP3 Semi Pro mode @ Monza & Other tracks? Good times for a beginner?

by Supe?soni » Wed, 23 Jan 2002 06:26:24

I would like some information about what times I should expect to get in Semi Pro mode
in GP3, I am using the 2001 track & carset updates from
http://www.racesimcentral.net/

At Monza my peak seems to be around the mid 1m28s, all aids are on except autobrakes &
line.  I am only using a joystick at the moment (Wingman Extreme Digital).

If anyone could reply with some times for all tracks that I can aim for or point me in
the direction of a good website with information about lap times I would appreciate
it.  I have found many websites with fantastically low hotlaps on but I feel these are
out of my reach at the moment.

TIA

Your laptimes won't change depending on what level you drive on (same goes
for it doesn't matter if you drive a Minardi or McLaren, the car is the same
when you're in the car.)  The only difference between the levels is the AI
driver laptimes (they get slower the lower down the ladder you go ie- rookie
is very slow.)  Judge your times by the AI times (or find a GP3 rank site,
one exists I think)

Heres something for a reference then...   out of curiosity I
just now fired up GP3 (all original tracks etc, not the 2001
version) and using keyboard mode my first hotlap was 1:26.725.
Starting the second lap, I improved my first sector time
by 3 tenths, but messed it all up badly at the second lesmo,
