new F1 game!

by Ray Wan » Sat, 12 Oct 1996 04:00:00

i read somewhere in a magazine that a new F1 game from psgnosis (i think
that is spelling) is coming out sometime in nov/dec. it is a conversion
of the great playstation game F1. i've played the playstation version
and if the pc version is the same it should be up there (if not better
than) with GP2.

FYI the playstation version features Murray Walker's commentary :
here are some ->

"i am sure there was contact"
"the XXX GP is go"
"its XXX in X position"

etc.

anyone know more about this?

There will be a direct port to the Orchid Righteous 3D card (3DFX
Voodoo chipset).  Its listed on the upcoming games  on the 3dfx www
site (or maybe on www.dimension3d.com).  Don't know of any other
information, but the graphics should be spectacular from early reviews
of the OR3D card.  There are a few screen shots and videos at
http://www.psygnosis.com/sm/ but it doesn't give any other information
as to whether this is from the new PC game or whether it is on the
3dfx accelerator.
