Benetton links-up for new F1 game - 29-Feb-2000
Benetton has teamed up with EA Sports for the launch of a new F1 game.
The Formula 1 team announced its partnership with the games giant at the
launch of F1 2000.
The Enstone-based team is also collaborating with EA Sports on the
development of a future game that will be released in the autumn.
Chief executive of the Benetton Formula 1 team, Rocco Benetton, said: "I'm
really happy we are working together with EA Sports on their new game
project.
"It is a new and fun opportunity for the team and I am very e***d to see
all the great technology EA Sports has to recreate the F1 experience.
"I'm looking forward to giving F1 2000 a road test."
Giancarlo Fisichella and Alex Wurz will launch Benetton's "real" F1 campaign
at the Australian Grand Prix on March 12.
